Smelling / petrichor. The smell after it rains. The scent reminds me of spring and new beginnings, even though it's autumn.
Planning / my blog posts for the next month. I have so many ideas and things to share! One of the major things I'm going to be starting is adding more date idea posts. I'm super passionate about having a weekly (or at least monthly) date time. I hope that by sharing some of our dates, you'll be inspired to go on more with your significant other. October is going to be a great month!
Celebrating / the fact that Caleb is here in town! He arrived here in Lincoln last Wednesday and moved into his own house. It's small, but super cute! Going to school without him was actually pretty hard. Ever since we started dating we've always gone to school together, so September was a big change in my daily routine. I'm already planning a little housewarming party / get together with our closest friends so we can all catch up.
Baking / nothing :( but now that Caleb has a house I really want to go apple picking and bake a fresh apple pie. Yum! Any tips for the baking the perfect apple pie? I'd love to hear them!
Feeling / relieved, relaxed, and happy that I finished my homework for the whole week on Sunday. No more staying up super late to study! :)
Opening / my first VoxBox from Influenster that I received in the mail! It's filled with so many amazing products that I can test and review. I'll be writing a post on it in the upcoming week, so stay tuned.
Bookmarking / lots of home decor and fashion inspiration! My Pinterest is full of ideas and inspiration that I love. I've also been saving some cool wall art on Etsy so I can begin to build a gallery wall. The first print I bought was this one from She Reads Truth. Do you have any favorite print shops you can share with me?
Wearing / a raincoat. It's been a wet week so far, but thankfully most of my classes are in the same building. I've also had to break out my fall clothing, although I'm still hoping there are some nice warm days left to wear sandals and dresses. I can't wait for cooler weather though! My go to fall outfits consist of sweaters with leggings, warm socks, and boots.
Listening / to anything by Sam Smith. The acoustic version of Latch is my favorite! I love it so much that I made it my ringtone. Another song that I've been listening to nonstop is Cheap Sunglasses by RAC. It's so happy and cheerful! I listen to it as I get ready because it puts me in a great mood for the rest of the day.
Wondering / who all these new faces are that I see on campus. I go to a small, private, Christian college with around 1,000 students, so I can usually recognize most faces and can name a lot of people, but lately I keep seeing people I've NEVER seen before. It's a little weird.
What's currently happening in your life? What are you loving / celebrating this month?
